As the world's first multi-technology carbon capture centre, Deep Sky Alpha brings together several direct air capture (DAC) technologies at a single site to assess their performance under real-world conditions. The project is designed to accelerate the identification and deployment of the most promising solutions, making CO₂ removal more efficient, accessible and scalable. Delivered in just 12 months, Deep Sky Alpha transformed Deep Sky's ambitious vision into an operational platform that accelerates the development of carbon removal technologies.
