BBA announces the appointment of Benjamin Rankin as Toronto Office Director. He will be taking over for Gustavo Marjovsky, who served for the interim over the last few months.
A graduate of mechanical engineering, Benjamin has over 15 years of experience with SNC-Lavalin where he worked on domestic and international mining and metallurgical and industrial projects, namely in mineral processing, nickel, cobalt and copper smelting and refining plants.
Throughout his career, Benjamin has held a variety of key positions, such as Director of Operations, Director of Engineering, and Engineering/Project Manager and Mechanical Lead on engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) projects. Until recently, Benjamin was Senior Director of Operations for Mining & Metallurgy at SNC-Lavalin in North America.
As office director, his mandate will be to continue building the team, develop our operations in the province and increase our presence in key target markets. His experience and knowledge will be instrumental in achieving our firm’s strategic objectives.
