  1. Brad Hansen appointed Vice-President, Operations – Canadian Prairies

    BBA is proud to announce that Brad Hansen has been appointed Vice-President, Operations – Canadian Prairies. He also joins the firm's Management Committee.

    Based in Calgary, Brad will oversee BBA's operations in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. In this role, he’ll be responsible for ensuring optimum coordination among the engineering, advisory services and field services teams, while overseeing the firm's operational performance and strategic positioning in this key region.

    Brad is a trained engineer with over 20 years of experience in industrial project development, complex operations management and technological innovation. He’s held several leadership roles internationally, especially in the critical minerals, energy and energy transition sectors. He’s also developed in-depth expertise in strategic subsectors for Western Canada, including pipelines, conventional and unconventional oil and gas reservoirs such as oil sands, as well as environmental, water and geoscience consulting services.

    Before joining BBA, he served as Regional Director – Mining, Minerals and Metals Consulting at Worley, where he led growth initiatives across the Americas, with a strong focus on sustainability and emerging technologies.

    His appointment supports BBA's strategy to accelerate growth in the Canadian Prairies, expand our expertise in oil and gas, particularly in energy excellence, digitalization and decarbonization, and pursue new opportunities in the region’s mining sector.

    We’re excited to welcome Brad to the leadership team and are confident that his leadership will help strengthen our presence and impact across Western Canada.
