In her new position, Katie Au will be responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing the functions and activities that enable our operational teams to continue delivering top‑tier expertise to our clients. “Over the past few years, Katie Au has stood out through her analytical and strategic skills as well as her ability to optimize processes and constantly promote innovation,” says Martin Milot, BBA's Chief Operating Officer. “Additionally, she has worked on a wide range of multidisciplinary projects, both in Canada and around the world. We have no doubt that her extensive experience will be a valuable asset in enhancing the quality of practice at BBA.”
Katie Au holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia. Before joining BBA, she worked for various consulting engineering firms and joined BBA when it was expanding into Western Canada, after our Vancouver office opened.
It’s worth noting that, in 2023, Katie Au received the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award from the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies of British Columbia for her pivotal role in establishing the BBA Diversity Committee.
