  Apuiat wind farm – 200 MW

  As the first wind power project on the Côte-Nord, Apuiat was developed by Les Innus in partnership with Boralex. Located on the traditional territory (Nitassinan) of the Uashat mak Mani-utenam First Nation and on public lands in the municipality of Port-Cartier, this 200 MW wind farm marks a major milestone for renewable energy production and regional economic benefits, while respecting First Nations’ values.

  An essential part of the region’s drinking water infrastructure, the Woodworth Dam was modernized by replacing century-old pipes. Designed to withstand climate challenges and honour the land, the project ensures access to clean water for the next 50 to 100 years and was developed in collaboration with First Nations communities.

  Canyon Creek – pumped storage power plant project

  Designed to enhance Alberta's energy flexibility, the Canyon Creek project will provide 75 MW of capacity and up to 37 hours of clean electricity on demand. This hydro storage facility helps balance supply and demand while improving grid reliability.

  Ontario faces a growing power supply need. As a result, the 50 MW Goreway battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Brampton and 120 MW York BESS in King Township will store surplus electricity during off-peak hours and discharge during peak demand to enhance grid reliability and support intermittent renewable energy integration.

  The 23.6 MWac Tilley Solar project—led by Concord Green Energy in collaboration with FNpower and the Alexander First Nation—features a utility-scale PV array that supports Alberta’s transition to renewable energy and contributes to emissions reduction. When operational, it will reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Alberta by approximately 14,200 tonnes annually.
