Tree for Life: An Award Recognizing Engineering Excellence

October 26, 2018 - By sponsoring the Tree for Life Award, presented yearly to a consulting engineering firm that has stood out for its environmental stewardship, BBA is demonstrating its interest to recognize engineering contributions toward developing greener communities.

It was in this vein that our president, André Allaire, presented the award to WSP at the Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards Gala. “We’re proud to encourage environmental engineering projects,” explains Mr. Allaire. “It’s important for BBA to help promote a culture where the environment features prominently; this includes highlighting the successes of our competitors. The award reinforces our vision of innovation and excelling, which goes far beyond engineering.”

WSP was honoured for developing a flywheel energy storage and airfield critical power system at the Vancouver International Airport.
