Our teams’ ingenuity has made a name for itself on the national stage. Mangrove Lithium’s lithium refining plant in British Columbia and the Saa/Se solar farm in Yukon each received an Award of Excellence and a special award at the ACEC National Awards gala. Mangrove Lithium received the Catalyst Award, while Saa/Se received the Engineering a Better Canada Award.
Two BBA projects stood out on the national stage by earning an Award of Excellence at the Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards on October 15, 2026. The Mangrove Lithium commercial lithium refining plant project and the Beaver Creek Saa/Se solar energy project were among the award-winning achievements honoured this year through one of Canada’s most prestigious awards programs in consulting engineering. Saa/Se also earned the Sustainability Award, one of three Special Awards presented by the jury this year, recognizing the project’s outstanding environmental stewardship.
