Eng, MBA. has been appointed Chair of the [Board of Directors (BoD)](https://www.bbaconsultants.com/en-ca/about/our-leadership) and that André Allaire Ph.D., former BBA president, has been appointed as a director. 1. Colin Hardie is a Geological Engineer with over 25 years of diversified management and technical experience in consulting engineering, project development and mining operations. Mr. Hardie has been with BBA since 2008 and is known for his strong technical background, teamwork and client service excellence. He brings a strong focus on corporate governance and risk management along with significant knowledge of the global mining sector. Mr. Hardie is currently BBA’s National Business Line Director for Mining and Metals Studies. “After 40 years, BBA finds itself at a significant turning point. Our future success will depend heavily on our ability to attract and develop the best talent, helping our clients achieve their energy transformation and decarbonization goals while at the same time contributing to a more sustainable world through active social involvement with communities in which we work,” says Colin Hardie. “Of course, our challenges match our ambitions, and I look forward to beginning my new role on the Board to ensure BBA continues to move forward to achieve its full potential.” André Allaire, BBA’s former president between 2014 and 2021 has been a key player in the firm’s strategic development and in promoting our expertise across the country.
