In remote locations, industrial clients sometimes mistakenly tend to overlook interconnecting to utility grids because of the required higher initial investment.

 

1. This white paper presents a strategy to:
    
    
    - Define high-level parameters for the power transmission system
    - Evaluate equivalent energy costs for specific industrial sites in remote locations
    - Determine whether a more detailed study is required
    
    The results can also serve as a baseline scenario for designing a transmission line.
