BBA appoints François Lachance as Director, International Synergies

As part of its international growth strategy, BBA is pleased to announce the appointment of François Lachance as Director, International Synergies. This appointment reflects the continued evolution of BBA’s organizational structure to support the expansion of its operations beyond Canada.

This new strategic role is designed to strengthen connections between BBA’s Canadian teams and its international operations, as the firm accelerates its development in the United States and Latin America.

  2. As Director, International Synergies, François will lead regional growth initiatives, support the opening and launch of new offices and ensure alignment between international operations, BBA’s proven Canadian delivery model and its strategic plan.

    An engineer with a master’s degree in automation, François brings over 20 years of consulting engineering experience. He has an in-depth understanding of BBA’s organization and a multidisciplinary background spanning the full project life cycle. Since 2020, he has served as Office Director in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, leading a multidisciplinary team of more than 350 professionals in the mining, energy and heavy industry sectors.

    “François’s appointment marks a key milestone in structuring our international operations. His leadership, deep understanding of our business model and ability to mobilize teams will be instrumental in driving coherent and sustainable growth outside Canada,” says Benoit Richard, Vice-President, International Operations at BBA.
