With this in mind, BBA is proud to announce the opening of an office in Val-d’Or, in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, which is both a hub for the Québec mining sector and a gateway to the Plan Nord. “Opening this office will allow us to work closely with and provide operational support to clients in the region, such as Osisko, Canadian Malartic, IntegraGold, Agnico Eagle and Glencore,” states Frédéric Didier, Executive Director – Eastern Canada Operations. Over 20 mining facilities are currently being developed or are operating in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, which makes it one of the largest mining sectors in Canada, on top of being so close to the largest hydroelectric structures in Québec.” Pierre Godard has been entrusted with the role of Office Director and comes from the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. Mr. Godard established and ran a construction company for nearly 15 years, which led him to develop recognized expertise in this sector and maintain business relationships with many of our current and potential clients.
