Our experts' solutions
BBA’s review focused on evaluating the utility’s selection of new systems and anticipated benefits it promised to deliver. This involved obtaining documentation used to identify and procure the proposed WAM system, interviewing key personnel and benchmarking against industry standards.
BBA produced a comprehensive and systematic report detailing our findings. We found that the utility had taken a reasonable and prudent approach in justifying the need to replace its WAM systems, outlining the required solution and establishing the project methodology and governance. We affirmed that successful completion of this project would allow the utility to maintain customer service, power reliability and cost-efficiency.
Further, BBA supported the utility during the interrogatory stage, responding to questions from intervenors and the regulator, ultimately securing successful approval for the funding application.
