BBA gives back to the community

BBA is determined to support communities where it carries out projects, so it recently donated $20,000 to the Mamu Tshishkutamashutau – Innu Education School Board in Sheshatshiu, Newfoundland. This donation was made in partnership with our aboriginal partner, Hagerty Penashue Holdings, with whom BBA is currently working on a project located in the region.

This donation will provide the Mushua Innu Natuashish and Sheshatshiu Innu schools each with $10,000 to upgrade their equipment and technology to help Innu children who attend these schools to continue their studies in these changing times of pandemic induced distance learning.

Since its founding, BBA has contributed to improving the quality of life and to developing communities where it operates by supporting local organizations, and this recent donation demonstrates BBA’s commitment to Indigenous communities.
