  Sustainability and carbon management

For leaders in key natural resources markets, sustainability and carbon management are increasingly embedded in project and investment decisions, shaping how projects are planned, financed, and delivered. This creates tension between long-term climate goals and business realities such as cost, schedule and risk. Early decisions will determine project viability, access to capital, and long-term resilience.

  Project execution

To reach their increasingly ambitious targets, businesses must take great care to ensure the success of every project they undertake, especially when it comes to respecting budgets, schedules and overall quality. Limited resources must be used responsibly to avoid jeopardizing project viability. That’s why impeccable project execution is a crucial part of every mandate. The key is to make the best management decisions, at the right time, based on reliable data.

- Environmental assessments and permitting

Environmental permitting is becoming more complex, fragmented and uncertain. Projects are under increasing pressure to move faster, while regulatory expectations, stakeholder scrutiny and data requirements continue to grow. Success today depends on how early risks are identified, how clearly constraints are understood and how well approval strategies are built from the start.

  Water management and treatment

Water is no longer a stable input. It’s a dynamic system that directly impacts operations, regulatory compliance and long-term site performance. Across mining, energy and industrial projects, increasing regulatory pressure, climate variability and aging infrastructure are redefining how water must be managed and treated. This requires moving beyond reactive approaches to treatment and toward integrated engineering systems that align water flows, quality, treatment processes, infrastructure and operations from the outset.

  Ecosystems and biodiversity protection

Industrial projects operate within increasingly defined environmental boundaries, where biodiversity and ecosystem integrity shape both opportunity and constraint. Integrating these considerations into project decisions is essential to ensuring sustainable, resilient outcomes. Doing so requires translating environmental considerations into practical, site-adapted actions throughout the project life cycle.

  Geomatics, GIS and environmental data

Industrial projects are increasingly driven by data—more sources, more precision and higher expectations from regulators and stakeholders. Geomatics and GIS bring clarity to complexity. By combining spatial analysis, data integration and advanced visualization, they create a shared, reliable view of the territory, supporting better decision-making from early planning through to project delivery and approval.

  Environmental monitoring and compliance

Environmental monitoring and compliance are integral to how projects are delivered and sustained over time. Beyond meeting regulatory requirements, they provide ongoing visibility into environmental performance, helping ensure that commitments are upheld from construction through to operations. This requires translating requirements into consistent, site-level actions supported by reliable data, appropriate tools and on-the-ground expertise.

- Operational readiness and commissioning

Given the vast amounts that industrial companies invest in designing and building their facilities, the desire to get the most out of their assets for as long as possible comes as no surprise. Whether these businesses are dealing with new construction, facility improvements or corrective actions, their challenge remains the same: to preserve company assets and optimize overall productivity while ensuring worker safety. Rigorous operational readiness and commissioning plans are crucial, and the ability to resolve problems in real time and in difficult conditions is essential. When every minute counts, teaming up with the right field services partner makes all the difference.
