We’re pleased to announce the official opening of a new office in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. This expansion strengthens BBA’s presence in Eastern Canada and reflects our continued commitment to being near our clients, their operations and their goals.

  1. We’ve been active in the province since 2010 through our Labrador City office, where we’ve built strong relationships with numerous partners and clients in the region. Opening this new office is part of a clear commitment to supporting long-term growth in Newfoundland and Labrador and contributing to major projects in key sectors, including renewable energy, mining and advanced fuels.

“Our growth strategy is rooted in proximity, both to our clients and to the talent shaping tomorrow’s projects,” says Jérôme Pilon, Vice-President, Québec and Atlantic Regions. “By establishing a presence in St. John’s, we’re boosting our ability to support strategic projects in the region and to deliver engineering solutions tailored to local realities, while contributing to a sustainable development vision for Atlantic Canada.”

A dedicated local team is driving the opening of the St. John’s office. These professionals bring extensive regional knowledge and recognized expertise, allowing BBA to better serve its clients in Newfoundland and Labrador and across Atlantic Canada, while strengthening relationships with local partners.

  2. Barbara Braggs, Office Director, is heading up the office and brings over 20 years of experience in operations management and business development. She has extensive knowledge of the energy and industrial sectors, along with a deep understanding of the Newfoundland and Labrador market and the broader Atlantic region, all backed by a well-established network.

“Opening this office provides a unique opportunity to actively contribute to high-impact projects in the region by working closely with local clients and partners,” explains Barbara Braggs. “We want to build a strong presence in St. John’s—one that’s rooted in the community and focused on the future.”

This new office is part of BBA’s overall strategy to expand its reach and increase its impact across Canada by combining a strong regional presence, specialized expertise and close collaboration with local stakeholders.
