He received this recognition at the 14th annual award ceremonies for the Grand Prix du génie-conseil québécois. 1. He is a passionate professional who regularly takes young engineers along with him to work sites in order to show them the importance of being available and mobile—the very characteristics that have made BBA a success. For almost 40 years, thanks to Maurice Brisson’s mentoring, over 30 young engineers have had the opportunity to participate in major projects all over the world and to perfect their skills. Mr. Brisson keeps his ear to the ground to stay abreast of the latest advancements and best practices; he also enjoys sharing his wide-ranging expertise in Québec power systems, which he developed over several decades. ## An outstanding track record Mr. Brisson earned a bachelor’s degree (1971) and a master’s degree in electrical engineering (1973) from Polytechnique Montréal.
