BBA assessed the value and cost of Columbia Power Corporation’s (CPC) existing and alternative O&M agreements for facility management. We guided CPC in selecting an option that supports the long-term operation and maintenance of their facilities.

    The evaluated service model included multiple categories assessed with consideration of risk, benefit and associated finances. BBA’s review was structured with decision analysis to assess alternatives on both a monetary and non-monetary scale, including risk.
    
    Since outsourcing is a strategic response for CPC, our team defined a procedure and framework to evaluate each service category in terms of risk, benefit and financial considerations. This approach was designed to meet CPC’s risk tolerance and performance levels to best serve its customers. The analysis recommended CPC select the optimal choice that provides better value while considering the long-term operation and maintenance of their facilities.
