This year, we’re privileged to support two promising engineering students:
- Nevin Hood from the Métis Nation of Alberta, studying at the University of Alberta
- Lauren Papin from Greater Golden Lake, studying at the University of Western Ontario
Nevin and Lauren will each receive a $10,000 scholarship annually. Additionally, BBA will fund one new student each year, totalling $110,000 in scholarship investments over the next three years. This initiative is part of Indspire's Building Brighter Futures program.

Our partnership with Indspire reflects our dedication to empowering Indigenous youth through education, alleviating financial barriers and fostering diverse talent. We believe education is the cornerstone of reconciliation, fostering inclusive environments and integrating Indigenous perspectives for mutual understanding and social acceptance. Together, we can achieve true reconciliation and build a brighter future for everyone through the power of education.
