We’re pleased to announce that Mathieu Mullarkey has been appointed director of our new Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean office and Jessica Overchuk as director of our Rouyn-Noranda office. These appointments strengthen BBA’s presence in these regions and support our growth with local clients.

  1. “Developing our regional offices is central to our strategy of being close to our clients and communities. Mathieu and Jessica will bring this vision to life by continuing to build strong, lasting relationships in their respective regions,” adds Jean-Sébastien Lacroix, Interim Vice-President, Eastern Canada Operations.

With nearly 10 years of experience at BBA, Mathieu Mullarkey has played a key role in numerous mining, metals and secondary processing projects. His technical expertise, project management skills and strategic vision make him well equipped to develop our presence in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean and establish BBA as a trusted partner in the region. With the support of our experts, the recent integration of environmental specialists through the Synergis acquisition and our proven track record with regional clients, we see a bright future in this strategic region.

Jessica Overchuk is leading the Rouyn-Noranda office, home to nearly thirty employees. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration (Université Laval) and a master's degree in project management (UQAR). Jessica brings strong expertise in contract administration, project control and business relationship management. Her career includes roles in construction and mining, notably at IAMGOLD, where she held leadership positions and managed the project office. Jessica joins BBA with fresh energy and a clear vision to drive growth and innovation in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

In their new roles, Mathieu and Jessica will oversee daily operations, lead business development and implement strategic initiatives to support BBA’s growth.
