In 2016, as engineering mandates were becoming increasingly collaborative, BBA put exhaustive thought into redefining its work environments. The goal is to provide offices that increase team operational efficiency and to meet new employee workspace expectations: open spaces to increase synergy, technology to make mobility easier, common areas to recharge during a break, and much more.
“This major undertaking demonstrates our commitment to provide employees with great work environments,” states Renée-Claude Turgeon, Executive Director, Human Resources. “As an expert-driven service firm, recruiting talented individuals and ensuring an environment that’s conducive to their professional growth is a must.”
The Montréal and Toronto offices were the first to be revamped by the end of 2016. In the fall of 2017, BBA started major work at the Mont-Saint-Hilaire head office, which is home to almost 400 employees, making BBA one of the largest employers in that region. The firm also began refurbishing its Vancouver office in March 2018. Work will continue in the medium term at BBA’s other offices in Québec City, Labrador City, Sudbury and Calgary.
